Field default values

Hi guy's.

I have had a search through the online help, and I must be missing something.

I have a number of fields across my schema with no domain associated but they have default values. I can see these default values in ArcCatalog when I click on the field on the Fields tab in the featureclass properties dialog .... how can I get this through arcpy/Python??

I'm on 10.1 on windows.
