Delete Fields question

Hello,

I am converting coverage annotation to a geodatabase and running into a problem with a few of the pseudo-items from the coverage world.

Two of the required pseudo-items in coverage annotation are 'TEXT#' and 'TEXT-ID'.
When you run ConvertCoverageAnnotation_conversion to convert the anno to a gdb, these items become fields with names 'TEXT_' and 'TEXT_ID'.

For some reason these fields are not visible to the tool DeteleFields_management. In other words, if you run the tool from Catalog, these fields do not show up in the list of available fields to delete. Thanks for any help.
